Toch kunnen drones ook op een zeer efficiënte en veilige manier worden ingezet, waar de samenleving juist van kan profiteren.Intertraffic Amsterdam is een belangrijke vakbeurs op het gebied van mobiliteit, verkeers- en transportsystemen. De NL Drone Dag is hier een onderdeel van en vindt plaats op vrijdag 13 maart. Tijdens deze editie wordt ingezoomd op de toekomst van de drone. Zo zouden drones bijvoorbeeld ingezet kunnen worden om instanties zoals de politie en de brandweer te helpen met toezicht en monitoring.
