Volunteer to Career and Our New Staff Wellbeing Hub

For volunteer's week this year the theme is ‘Volunteer to Career.’ We’ve spoken with a number of volunteers across our hospital, some who previously worked here and now volunteer, and others who started as volunteers and went on to build careers in healthcare. Angela, Kirsten, Daniel and Tabi are four of our volunteers who are about to share their stories and what volunteering here at the hospital means to them.On Monday, 2 June, we opened our new staff wellbeing hub at the front of Trelawny wing. Director of Nursing Berni George was there to cut the ribon. We also hear from Lee Wheston, manager of Anytime Fitness in Truro, about how they're supporting our staff to improve their health and wellbeing.And to mark the opening of the new Wellbeing Hub in the Trelawney Wing, Charlie caught up with a few RCHT team members who recently had their check-ups to find out what motivated them to take part and how the experience has benefited them.
