Before he ascends, he tells them “stay here in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from heaven.” (Luke 24:49 NLT). The disciples then enter a period of waiting. There has been a promise from Jesus for power, but it has not been fulfilled. Many times, in our lives we experience these waiting moments, stuck between where we are, and where we feel God is calling us to be.
