Walt Interviews Luz Sanchez – Embrace Your Struggles

from Stand Up and Speak Up · host Stand Up and Speak Up

The harsher the wind, the stronger the roots of the tree are. After a storm or even a tornado, only the most durable trees with deep roots remain standing. Don’t be ashamed of the adversity in your life. Even when you try to hide it, it will show up everywhere. It is the very thing that has made you You! Adversity — your wounds, your trials, and tribulations — takes you deep into the farthest and darkest corners of your being. And every time you thought you were not going to make it, you did. You are not alone if you thought you were. After living all those experiences, dormant powers awaken. You have a deeper stronger spiritual connection, and you learned of an inner- strength you didn’t know you had. Know thyself because the truth will set you free. Luz Sanchez is from Mexico City and graduated with a BA from CSUN. She worked as a freelance videographer and video editor. She is also a Yoga Instructor and has been a member of Toastmasters for four years. Luz is the co-author of two books, “Women Who Rock 2” and “Life Boosts.”
