Walt interviews Rob Trygg – Voice Over Acting

from Stand Up and Speak Up · host Stand Up and Speak Up

Since the 80s, Rob Trygg has had a microphone in his face. He is the voice of Stand Up and Speak Up: promos, intros and outros. What is voice over acting? What lessons can a speaker learn from a voice over artist? Let’s find out. In 1982, at 18 years old, Rob started in radio. The first half of his career was an on-air personality in Phoenix. Then, in the mid 90s, he started on the production side doing commercials and voice over. Rob has performed as a voice actor for national and local radio, television and imaging spots. Voice over has always been extra money for him. In 2011, Rob quit the radio world and started DoubleWide productions with Dave Pratt. And Rob has never looked back. [FYI - DoubleWide is now Star Worldwide and the parent network of Stand Up & Speak Up’s RadioStar Worldwide Network.] You can find Rob on-line at www.RobTrygg.com.
