Wānaka's New Favourite? | Little Street Kitchen Review
from The Radio Wānaka Breakfast Podcast · host Radio Wanaka
Last night Hannah and I headed along to Little Street Kitchen in Wānaka for a belated birthday dinner, and it turned into one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. From the moment we walked through the door, the service was exceptional. The team knew the menu inside out, offered great recommendations, and made us feel welcome from the start. We kicked things off with a couple of share plates, including crispy buffalo chicken and a flavour-packed bao bun, before moving on to the mains. The standout dish of the night? Without a doubt, the beer and cheese soup. The best way I can describe it is this: imagine French onion soup and poutine gravy having a baby. Rich, thick, comforting and loaded with flavour. It's the kind of dish you'll still be thinking about the next day. The pork belly fried rice was another winner. Tender pork, great texture, and one of those meals where every mouthful makes you want another. In this episode, I share my honest thoughts on the food, service, atmosphere, and why Little Street Kitchen is quickly becoming one of my favourite spots in town. If you're looking for a great place to celebrate a special occasion, catch up with mates, or simply enjoy a fantastic meal in Wānaka, this one's for you. 🍻🍴🎉See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
