Warminster man pleads guilty to detonating explosive under former boss' car
from KYW Newsradio Audio On-Demand
A Bucks County man admitted to a federal judge that he detonated an explosive device under his former boss’ car in South Jersey last year. Michael Takacs, 44, of Warminster pleaded guilty to transporting an explosive and could spend a decade in prison. Takacs was fired last spring. Months later, authorities say he drove to the house of his former boss in Delran and placed a homemade explosive device filled with nails under the car, and then hid nearby to detonate it using a remote. They say he was successful, but no one was hurt and that Takacs only wanted to intimidate his former boss. Takacs is set to be sentenced in the fall. (Photo: Getty Images)
