"Warnings" (Nehemiah 9:34)

"Our kings, our leaders, our priests and our fathers did not follow your law; they did not pay attention to your commands or the warnings you gave them" (Nehemiah 9:34). "Now these things occurred as examples to keep us from setting our hearts on evil things as they did" (1 Corinthians 10:6). "These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the fulfillment of the ages has come.
