Was Lindsay Clancy's Jury Shown Everything On Her Phone?

from True Crime Today | Daily True Crime News & Interviews · host Real Story Media

Text messages from Lindsay Clancy's phone were read to the jury at Plymouth Superior Court on Day 13 of her murder trial. On the morning of January 24, 2023, she sent Patrick a snowman photo at 8:19 a.m. He responded: "You're a good mama." She asked about takeout from a restaurant. That afternoon — Miralax, CVS, Callan's nap schedule, Pedialax. Parenting logistics until the final hours. The prosecution led the day's digital forensics testimony with one Google search from January 20: "Can you treat a sociopath?" Kevin Reddington spent his cross reading the rest of the browser history aloud. Searches spanning December 29 through January 23 covered every psychiatric medication Lindsay had been prescribed and symptoms including schizophrenia, psychosis, intrusive thoughts, and hallucinations.Messages between Lindsay and her mother showed a slow-motion check-in across January. Anxious about meeting the psychiatry team on January 3. Feeling a little better on January 10. Starting a new medication on January 18. On January 14: "Hanging in there, waiting for the day I feel like me."A forensic examiner testified that a second trooper had performed a separate extraction of the phone's data using a different method, and the two results didn't match. The case officer's walkthrough video showed blood pooled on the bedroom floor and a chef's knife on the nightstand. A medical examiner told the case officer that strangulation takes several additional minutes after loss of consciousness to cause death. Lindsay Clancy has pleaded not guilty and argues postpartum psychosis made her unable to appreciate the wrongfulness of her actions. Prosecutors allege deliberate planning.Listen Anywhere You Get Podcasts: https://pod.link/1655749292Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video?
