We All Need Anchors with Shelley Pentony

from The Mustache Mesa · host Sarah Kurtanich & Sando Bernstein

We are very excited to be sharing our conversation with Shelley Pentony. Shelley discovered her passion for yoga over 20 years ago. After spending 17 years providing direct services to trauma survivors, she recognized a need to incorporate more body-based modalities into the healing work she was providing to her clients. With an existing awareness of the profound healing benefits of yoga and the belief that everything we need to heal is already within us, she shifted her work's focus to be offering Trauma Informed Yoga to survivors of trauma. Since then, Shelley has created and led trauma informed yoga and mindfulness programs across the state of Maryland.  Listening to this episode is total self care. We discuss what it means to be trauma informed, how important it is to remember to rest after taking action, the benefits of meditation and so much more.  For full show notes click here Find The Mustache Mesa on Instragram Find The Mustache Mesa on Facebook
