We Come as Easter People to Let That Light Shine in Our Lives

from Sunday Homilies with the Redemptorists · host Novena Church

How do we connect our lives with the faith to believe that Jesus Christ suffered, died, and was resurrected? He is the light of our lives, but the light also gives us the faith to say, we can't run away suffering. The journey is long, but we must believe in the hope of the resurrection. Many of us don't live as Easter people. We live as Sunday people, where we attend Mass and forget about our faith...and forget about the light of Christ. It's a constant struggle to walk in the light, but we must focus on Christ as the light, and let that light shine in our lives. Let us go to him with the sense of gratitude, of hope that even when life is tough, we experience the light of Christ in our lives. -Sunday Homily by Fr. Simon Tan, C.Ss.R. (31 March 2024)
