Week 24 - NickLong - Shíyī 十 Prime

For this weeks weekly beats I tried to do the same trick as last week and make a track using an odd time signature while making it sound natural and fun. Turns out 11/8 is much harder to do that with than with 5/4 I had quite limited time so this is a very simple sketch. Synplant did an update this week so I thought I'd make it entirely with 3 instances of Synplant and one of Microtonic all by the amazing Sonic Charge. For those not familiar Synplant is a really crazy synth that generates patches by growing them as plants using genetic algorithms. So I generated a few patches and used what I've got. I still don't really understand it, but it's really cool and I need to spend more time with it.
