Week 24 - Xjs - Panic!

Very rushed production today. Started with less than three hours on the clock, with only the slightest idea of what I wanted to do. Given that, it went okay, but it's rather rough around the edges. Apologies! The story behind it is that this week I listened to an audiobook where a ship chase across a sea vortex was described, where the vortex could only be crossed safely at high tide — and that I was at a tea house earlier today. › Lyrics‹ Lyrics First blips around your boat A falling raindrop hits your nose No friend so far remote The stars to trace the path you chose The wind, it starts to turn Whirling gusts that pull you farther out The kettle, left to burn Whistling, your teapot short and stout Ever slowly, ever steady Do you think you're ever ready evermore, eternal gravity reminds you of your proper brevity Panic! The waves are coming Panic! The tides are rising Panic! The Flood is due Finish your tea and go! Won't you burn your tongue You're only at your third infusion The wheel turns, before long Can't see the stars through clouds, confusion! Won't you lose your course You're heading in the wrong direction Give your ship the spores A concoction for your whim infection! Panic! The waves are coming Panic! The tides are rising Panic! The Flood is due Finish your tea and turn around! Ever slowly, ever steady Do you think you're ever ready evermore, eternal gravity reminds you of your proper brevity Panic! The waves are coming Panic! The tides are rising Panic! The Flood is due Finish your tea and go! 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial Share Alike (BY-NC-SA)
