I find myself feeling like these present days are days I will long for in the future... I try to soak up as many moments as I can in the day to day. The mad rush between waking up for school run, getting home to start work on time, leaving work on time to get to school and then dance classes or netball games. I know I will miss it, as much as some times I stop and feel sorry for myself being so busy. This music is like, future me, wishing to be right back here while all the kids are still kids (they are 6, almost 12 and 13.) The world is also a mess, and I just don't know how many levels past 40 I will reach. Am I half way? Less than? More than? I've been trying to take care of my body for about 18 months, and am bloody grateful for it. I feel better now than I did in my 30s, even late 20s. But I hope it's not too little too late. I shot hoops over at the school this afternoon with my 3 girls.
