Week 26 - evanericksonmusic - A Day That Never Comes

Wanted to make something special for week 26! I was not sure I’d get around to it due to a bad week, but the last couple days I got some gusto back. This is an unapologetically hopeful song with lots of flanger use. Yes, there are a couple things I’d like to change, but I tried to look at a loudness meter to make sure this song stayed within a range. The audio file actually has contour! I’ll admit the middle chunk of this song made me really emotional while writing it. Something about the weirdly out of tune flute melody gets me in the feels. Each of the 3 main sections I think turned out super cool, barring a few weird transitions. Had to pull out a 31/32 groove at the end when the energy picks up LOL.
