Week 26 - horatiuromantic - Blue City Life

Blue city life. When you're blue, you're in the city, and you're alive! Ft Bernard Purdie sample on drums. I have two versions on video. Second take: First take: Drums by the great Bernard Purdie from his producer drums album vol 1. Bass and piano by me, with built in instruments from Logic! I continued the saved file from last time, and used a different drum sample but the same piano and bass sounds. My goal was to compose a funky song that I can play with the band, potentially with me on the bass on the left hand. I think this will qualify, it's really fun to play! In truth there were a couple more takes before the "first" take, that didn't make the cut. But these are the first video takes tho!!! I didn't even set up my good piano this week, I was out and about most of the time. But now it will be the jazz festival, and I'm free until August, so it will be a month of fun and music and maybe some new projects! 2026 Copyright All rights reserved
