Technique notes: I went in a different direction this week and experimented with creating an IDM style track. To begin, I set up a drum machine with a Beat Map player, which I used several LFOs to modulate. I then added a secondary percussion machine by creating a Combinator with several different Noise Engineering rack units and some effects with a line mixer. Afterwards, I added a pad, which I duplicated to create a pulsing element. I then added a motif to bring in and began to mix, mainly bringing tracks in and out.
