Week 27 - Drum Bender - Last time.

from WeeklyBeats.com - Music RSS Feed · host Drum Bender

Music Video So I've been meaning to try to make really "bendy" music. Not sure this really got there. It feels more like "sad and alone on a beach" music to me. Anyway. I used an SP404 for the first time and stared with a bunch of vocal samples for the foundational melody and song structure, but it ended up getting pretty buried after I added synth for texture and low end, two drum takes and lyrical vox. I guess the synth is kinda bendy... but not the way i hear it in my head. Did two drum tracks... one for the left ear and one for the right ear. I really like how the drums turned out. LYRICS Last time. 1000 miles of calm, they wave goodbye and what we really need is kinda hard to fold. If everything was clear, would we even know? Nice try. Until we choose to go. Last time. Unfortunate is all dissolving in the end. Holding pretty thoughts intended for the air. The current came around a perfect undertow where we hide a lovely place to go. I used to know the way (denial). Full years, fist in page. Mouth spilling over with smiles and dirt. In isolation. Hot fudge fuck me. I  just want to I just wanna fall forever. Right into the art of place we cannot see. I hope you'll meet me there sometime. 2026 CC Attribution Noncommercial No Derivative Works (BY-NC-ND)
