Week 27 - Minnamari - Butterfly Ancestors

This is a collaboration between two different versions of me, spanning years - starting with lyrics my 20-year old self wrote into a black notebook and ending with freestyling by my now 35-year old self. Realizing how much quirky, dark writings I have in these old notebooks that never got a place to land, felt nice to collaborate with that earlier version of me. The song ended up somewhere I had not anticipated, but it makes sense to the overall frame of mind I am cultivating - with appreciation for life as a whole while not taking it all too seriously.. › Lyrics‹ LyricsHello there!
