Week 33 - Tomatron.Jones - 5-6-7-8-tronica

I barely had time this week on account of family time and travels through Spain. But I woke up with an idea regarding a chord or bass progression that progressively added an extra beat. I noodled around on piano and recorded the idea with my phone, thinking I'd get to it eventually, but decided to pull in and sample my own recording, using single chord hits to make it sound more precise. It's a 4 chord progression of 5-6-7-8 beats each. Possibly a compound meter of 26/4 as 5+6+7+8? Who knows. Added some synth bass and synth leads as well. Drums mostly from splice but I programmed the kick and hat-pattern to accent the 5+6+7+8 grouping. Then I over did the FX on master. This was fun, but ran out of time and I'll probably hate it tomorrow.
