I've been going back to my old favorite, Paulstretch, to create parts to build out ambient tracks. I used a short sample to build out a set of stretches for further processing. I took the parts in Reason so I could mix and arrange the parts. I also experimented with some other samples for additional textures. After setting up the initial arrangement, I set up two tracks and rhythmic motifs that fade past one another. I also set up effects sends to add more texture.
