WEEKEND ROUTINE INTERRUPTED😡💔

from Girly Isabella · host isalifestyle

I still wanted to keep up with my weekend routine today though. Sunday evening stroll is my thing, rain or shine. So I stepped out like usual around evening time. But Owerri weather had other plans. I hadn’t even walked for 15 minutes before the sky just opened up. Heavy rain, no warning at all. Road started getting watery fast and there was no proper shelter except one small bus stop shed. So I got stuck there. I stayed under that shed for like 30 minutes just watching the rain pour. Couldn’t go forward, couldn’t go back without being drenched. People were running past with nylon bags on their heads, keke drivers parked up waiting too. I was just thinking “so this is how my cool-off time ends today?” Pulled my hoodie tighter and waited it out, listening to everyone complaining about Owerri rain 😂 When it finally calmed down, ground was messy with puddles and mud everywhere. But I still continued my walk. Wet sneakers, dodging splashes from cars, the whole thing. Felt different from my normal Sunday strolls — slower, colder, but still peaceful in its own way. That’s how it went. Got delayed by rain for 30 mins, but I still finished my walk. Owerri weather can’t stop the routine completely.

The Changeling Thomas Middleton; William Rowley The Changeling is a sensational 1622 tragicomedy by Thomas Middleton and William Rowley that comprises two intertwining plots. The first involves Beatrice-Joanna, daughter of the governor of Alicante, and her unruly passion for Alsemero, despite the fact that she is engaged to Alonzo de Piracquo. She enlists the aid of her father's servant De Flores to kill Alonzo so that she can marry Alsemero. However, she does not anticipate that De Flores, who is in love with her, will demand payment for the deed. The second plot is set in a madhouse, where the jealous old doctor Alibius is keeping his beautiful young wife Isabella confined so that she will not be unfaithful to him. Despite his best efforts, she is assailed by illicit suitors on all sides: Franciscus, who disguises himself as a madman, Antonio, who disguises himself as a fool, and Lollio, his lustful servant.
