Housing issues are the biggest concern for New Zealanders, with 41 per cent of the 600 researched putting it ahead of poverty and inequality concerns. The research also shows wealthier households are more concerned about crime and poorer households are more concerned about healthcare. Mr Dodd says they've found men were much more likely to be worried about drug and alcohol issues however woman were more concerned with the cost of living.
