I hope this video finds you in good health and high spirits! As we reach mid-summer, I wanted to take a moment to share some exciting news and updates from our clinic. What’s New - Arthritis Lately, I have been seeing more cases of arthritis in the clinic. Arthritis is a common condition affecting millions of Canadians, causing joint pain, stiffness, and inflammation. Factors like age, injury, infection, or genetics can cause arthritis. However, one of the most common causes is the wear and tear of joints from uneven wear due to poor posture and imbalances. Poor posture and imbalances can result from sitting for long periods, slouching, carrying heavy bags, or wearing improper footwear. These habits can stress your spine and joints, leading to misalignment and dysfunction. Over time, this can lead to degeneration and inflammation of the cartilage and bone, causing arthritis. Fortunately, there is a natural and effective way to prevent and treat arthritis: chiropractic care. As a chiropractor, I can help you improve your posture and alignment by gently adjusting your spine and extremities. These adjustments can relieve pain and increase mobility by restoring the normal function of your joints. Sometimes, I use shockwave or laser therapy to assist soft tissue and joint healing. Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses sound waves to stimulate blood flow and tissue regeneration. Laser therapy is a light therapy that uses low-level lasers to penetrate the skin and stimulate tissue healing. Another way I can help you prevent and treat arthritis is by providing you with custom-made orthotics. Orthotics fit inside your shoes and support your feet and arches. They can help you correct your foot posture and gait, which can affect your whole body alignment. If you are suffering from arthritis or want to prevent it, I encourage you to book an appointment with me today. I will assess your condition and design a personalized treatment plan that suits your needs and goals. We believe chiropractic care is more than just treating symptoms; it is about restoring health from the inside out. Chiropractic care operates on the belief that your body possesses an innate ability to heal itself when it is functioning and aligned correctly. Your spine is the communication channel for your nervous system, which controls every cell, organ, and system in your body. Stress, trauma, or toxins can cause your spine to become misaligned or subluxated, which disrupts the flow of information and energy between your brain and body. This can lead to pain, dysfunction, and disease. By performing gentle adjustments to your spine and extremities, I can correct the subluxations and restore the normal function of your nervous system. This allows your body to heal itself naturally and optimally without the use of drugs or surgery. With our care, you can do what you love again, whether playing with your kids, gardening, hiking, or golfing. You can also enjoy a higher quality of life and well-being. The move towards more renewables in our energy systems complicates matters even further, requiring the development of an integrated power grid and continuous and steady transformation of the UK power system. Network flows must be managed reliably under uncertain demands, uncertain supply, emerging network technologies and possible failures and, further, prices in related markets can be highly volatile. Mathematicians working with engineers and economists, can make significant contributions to address such issues, by helping to develop fit-for-purpose models for next generation energy systems. These interdisciplinary approaches are looking to address a range of associated problems, including modelling, prediction, simulation, control, market and mechanism design and optimisation.
