Hey there! This is the RUN your Happy Life Podcast. I'm your host Tina Repa. I am a Former teacher, Wife, Mom of 2, School Counselor and Runner of 15 years. I started running for weight loss, but found that rather than appreciating what my body was able to do on a run, I thought constantly about calories being burned. There is nothing enjoyable about that. It took years for me to realize that my body was doing amazing things and it should be celebrated! This podcast is about How to fall in love with Running. How to start from the very beginning, stay motivated on your journey and how to push yourself to accomplish running goals you never thought possible.  It will also be a little bit about mom-life, gaining an abundance of confidence, learning the value of being uncomfortable and how to use running to become an all around happier human.  You can expect 1 episode from this podcast each Week! I started this podcast because I have experienced first hand how running can and will change your life. I have run through moving, marriage, pregnancy, my first child, my second child and while working full time and going back to graduate school. I want to give this gift to anyone looking to find a sense of purpose, clarity and balance. There is no way you can embark on a running journey and not grow into your true self and if done correctly, without developing a sense of self love and appreciation for what your body can do rather than what it looks like.
