Brand loyalty has been the name of the game for the past several decades, if not longer.  And by "the game" I mean "the entire world".  Everything is a brand.  Your favorite celebrities are their own brands.  British royalty are moving to America to create a brand.  Even something like getting a vaccine is being branded and sold as a product to obsess over.  That's why we're so inconsistent with the name of our show.  We don't want to trick people into cultish brand loyalty.  No other reason.
