We've partnered with the ISHOF & Swimming World!

from Inside with Brett Hawke · host Brett Hawke

Swimming World Announces Official Partnership With Inside with Brett Hawke Podcast   Today marks an exciting milestone for Swimming World and the International Swimming Hall of Fame, as they announce an official partnership with two-time Australian Olympian Brett Hawke and his highly successful podcast, Inside with Brett Hawke. While Swimming World and Hawke have worked together in the past to promote the sport and its athletes, this partnership will elevate the exposure of the Swimming World brand and Hawke’s podcast, while enhancing the spotlight on the athletes who are the centerpiece of the sport.  Since starting the Inside with Brett Hawke Podcast, which can be found here on YouTube, Hawke has provided fans with a window into the sport – past and present. Many of the elite names in swimming have joined the 2000 and 2004 Olympian on his show, including Ian Thorpe, Alexander Popov, Adam Peaty, Kaylee McKeown, Eddie Reese, Grant Hackett, Lilly King and Ariarne Titmus, among others.  “Brett’s podcast has been a tremendous addition and asset to the sport,” said John Lohn, the Editor-in-Chief of Swimming World. “No matter the guest, Brett has a knack for exploring interesting areas of the athletes’ careers and pulling out stories that are engaging. His interviewing ability is top-notch and has made this success possible.”  Over the summer, Hawke’s podcast was a must-stop location to hear from swimming’s newest star, Romanian teenager David Popovici. As Popovici set a new world record in the 100-meter freestyle and recorded the third-fastest time in history in the 200 freestyle, the teen was a guest with Hawke and discussed several aspects of his rise – from his physical skills to the mentality that has driven his success. More, Hawke welcomed Canadian Summer McIntosh to his podcast, with the teen reviewing her superb summer campaign and targets for the future.  “Swimming World will continue to focus on major issues, events, leading figures, and encourage a deeper understanding of the sport we love while upholding journalistic integrity,” said Kyle Mills, Swimming World’s CTO. “We believe this collaboration with Inside with Brett Hawke only strengthens Swimming World’s ability to do that, by enhancing the quality of coverage inside our sport.”  In the past, Swimming World has highlighted several of Hawke’s podcasts, and that approach will now transform into a regular process. New Inside with Brett Hawke episodes will be announced on Swimming World and include a link to the fresh content. During its run, the podcast has generated more than three million views and more than 235,000 hours of video consumption.  As part of the partnership, Inside with Brett Hawke will promote content from Swimming World and ISHOF campaigns, and help grow awareness of the Swimming World/ISHOF missions.  “I’m excited to partner with Swimming World,” Hawke said. “It has always been the leader in the sport’s coverage, and together we look forward to further promoting the premier athletes and their accomplishments.
