What Are You Leaving Behind? The most important thing anyone can leave behind, is their witness for Jesus Christ. What will your kids say about you? What stories will be spoken about your life. There are many children raised in Christian homes and in church, but they have seen hypocrisy and have fallen away from Christ. What they are looking for is truth; consistent, solid, truth. Not hypocrisy. Colossians 1:10 admonishes us to walk worthy of the Lord. If your kids have fallen away to the world’s standards, stand in prayer and let your conduct for Christ lead them back to the truth. They are watching your walk. Your witness is being embedded into their hearts right now. Live in such a way that all they will remember is your godly walk for Christ, regardless of what they see other Christians do. Be that one person that truly showed them what God’s truth is. His truth changes not. Jesus is the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him. John 14:6
