What Celeste Told D4vd Days Before Her Procedure

Days before a procedure, a pregnant Celeste Rivas Hernandez texted d4vd something no thirteen-year-old should ever have to say to an adult, and at the July 24 session of the preliminary hearing, the court heard every word of it. This breakdown takes the full session in order, and the January texts sit at the center of it. The medical examiner, Dr. Grant Ho, testified that Celeste died of two sharp-force wounds to the upper body and had been dead at least weeks before discovery, and he told the court plainly what decomposition took off the table. The prosecution's closer, Detective Corey Farell, then connected the devices. Messages beginning in August 2022, when Celeste was eleven. Messages running through April 23, 2025, the day prosecutors allege David Anthony Burke killed her. And the January 2024 texts indicating a thirteen-year-old was pregnant and being asked when she would get it done. Nearly fifty images investigators call illegal material involving a minor were described to the courtroom one by one, never displayed, while her mother wept and her father stared at the floor. The defense worked the other side of every exhibit, pressing on what was never tested, what was never collected, and what the science cannot say, because that is the case they will bring to a jury if Judge Charlaine Olmedo orders a trial.
