What Did The Gospel Do?

The gospel is a divine achievement accomplished through the historical event of Jesus Christ's suffering and resurrection. And by achievement, we mean things like, "Christ died for our sins"! There's a design and intentionality in this event & there's an accomplishment in it. Something is achieved in this event! This is not a random death, the Lord had a plan and a design. The gospel as an achievement means our salvation is secure, freeing us from both legalism and fear!
