Peter is such a good example of being a BAD example and eventually a GOOD example.  Today is not that day.He mis-assesses his spiritual maturity by pledging to go with Jesus unto death. In fact, he doesn't go with Jesus unto BREAKFAST.  We might take a bit of comfort in the fact that Peter's spiritual walk doesn't end with his failures before breakfast.  What is important for Peter is of course the fall, but also what happens AFTER the Fall. https://youtu.be/HrGsiLmGiOI
