What does Jesus want?

Pastor Jimmy Sim preached from Luke 10:38–42, contrasting Martha’s busyness with Mary’s devotion. He emphasized that Jesus desires our hearts before our hands, intimacy before activity. Service without communion leads to frustration, comparison, and burnout, but sitting at Jesus’ feet brings eternal value that cannot be taken away. Believers must guard against a culture of busyness, choosing relationship with Christ over mere productivity. Daily time with God, flowing into ministry, is the “better portion” that pleases Him.
