What does the Bible say about Tattoos?

from Spirit & Truth Podcast · host Spirit & Truth Fellowship International

This teaching explores three questions about tattoos: What does the Bible say? Is it okay for a Christian to get one? What should one do with an ungodly tattoo? In the Old Testament God condemned the idea of marking or cutting oneself as that practice was associated with pagan worship. The New Testament encourages us to love one another by not causing others to stumble by our actions, which could include tattoos.  Verses: Lev. 19:28; 1 Kings 18:26-28; Jer. 16:6; 41:4-5; 48:36-37; Isa. 49:15-16; Eph. 2:13-14; Rom. 8:37-39; 10:4; 13:8, 10; 14:22-23; 1 Cor. 8:9, 37-39; 10:23; Gal. 5:14; Col. 3:23; 1 Tim. 1:5; 1 Sam. 15:23; Matt. 15:17; 1 John 1:9  Teacher: Dan Gallagher
