Each option is explored and explained. The differences between contraception and menopause treatment are discussed, including which contraceptive options can be used both for contraception and menopause hormone treatment. The options that aren't recommended are also discussed along with the reasons why. The information is intended to educate women on their options so they can feel confident advocating for themselves when they explore these options with their own personal doctor. Each woman has her own unique circumstances and for this reason her treatment options have to be individualised by negotiating a treatment plan with her own personal doctor. Some recommendations will differ slightly by country.
