The heart of Christmas should be giving ourselves to Jesus. In this special Christmas episode we discussed the true essence of the Christmas season. We should give ourselves fully to Jesus in accordance with scripture. We consider the example of the wise men in Matthew 2:1-2. Their gifts were provided as worship of Jesus as King. Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice by laying down his life for us. 1 John 3:16 requires that we also sacrificially give to others.
