First of all, the real you never dies.  You are immortal. You are going to live forever, it just is a matter of WHERE and with WHO? Second, as for your body, you are going to get it back in some sort of an immortal way.Every one who "dies" has four broad steps:Your soul goes somewhere as it is separated from your bodyAt some point you are resurrected to the reuniting of your soul and bodyYou are resurrected to face JUDGMENT, either alone or with Help from JesusYou are permanently placed either with God on the new heaven, new earth OR you are permanently placed in hell AWAY from the presence of God.After death, we'll have no say in the process.
