In today's episode, I want to share what might be a fresh and powerful perspective on comparison. We've all heard the Theodore Rosevelt quote, "Comparison is the thief of all joy" But is it ALWAYS? In a recent quiet moment with God I came to the conclusion that it is dependent on the intention and condition of your heart. Comparison is the thief of all joy when you use it or let the enemy use it to condemn you. Comparison can also lead you into complacency and settling for less than what God has for you when you compare where you are to a lower standard than what is meant for you. Comparison can also empower you to thrive when you use it to be reminded of what is possible for you.
