Also featured, a story about a high-end restaurant in London that is criticized for its dish, 'le Grand Coke pie', which contains cooked chicken wings and feet, with the chicken's head sticking out. The dish is popular due to the restaurant's aim to waste no food. John expressed his doubts about the dish's appeal. Paul shared three Bigfoot sighting stories, including a photograph from Colorado taken by a woman named Shannon Parker. John was skeptical about the authenticity of the photos, expressing doubts about their clarity and a potential hoax involving the person filming. Also discussed a viral video claiming to show a Bigfoot-like creature walking across a hill, which they suspected was a hoax. The final story was about a sighting in Banff National Park in Canada, with a clear photo of the creature's face. John expressed his skepticism. The possibility of a Big Foot was based on some footprints found, but due to lack of further information, it was not confirmed. Paul shared a story about the CEO of Levi's advocating for showering with jeans to avoid microfibers entering the sewage system and potentially being consumed by fish. Paul pointed out the flaw in this method as the microfibers would still end up in the drain and potentially affect the environment. Paul suggested not showering in hot water to avoid jeans shrinking. They looked at an alleged photo of the Loch Ness monster taken in 2023, which John questioned due to its unclear quality. Paul proposed a hypothetical scenario about venturing into the Loch for a closer look, leading to a light-hearted exchange. Paul also shared a story about Charles Rankin, who claimed to have found and disposed of the Loch Ness monster in 1942. Strange sports not so strange, Flag Football coming to the summer Olympics. John shared his personal experience with flag football, which his father used to play at Fort Meade, Maryland, during World War II as a way to stay fit and avoid injuries. They also delved into the history and evolution of flag football, with John revealing that the first recorded game was in 1960 at Fort Bead by the National Touch Football Organization. Since 1971, the league has held an annual National Championship game. The International Federation of American Football oversees the sport, and John noted that the game's rules can vary widely, with the number of players on the field ranging from 9 to 4.
