Do you struggle with boundaries? Or feel like you have an empty space inside that doesn’t ever quite get filled? Have people told you that you need too much attention or reassurance? Is it easy for you to jump to the worst conclusions about a situation? Do your thoughts start to spiral into a loop of anxiety and overwhelm? For the longest time I minimized what was happening to me telling myself that I must care about everyone else more than they cared about me. But as time went on I started to wonder why this empty space inside of me was never filled and why I couldn't seem to find peace and security in my relationships. As HSPs, it's painful when the love, affection, and emotional investment we make in others doesn't seem to be reciprocated to the same degree. Does this mean that we’re more emotionally hungry than other people? If you find that you're struggling please reach out for help.Eating Disorder Helpline 800-931-2237National Suicide Prevention Lifeline 800-273-8255SAMHSA National Helpline 800-662-4357More Info Here: https://linktr.ee/highly.sensitive.healing

The author's family lived in various Victorian towns and from the age of 13 to 17 Richardson attended boarding school at the Presbyterian Ladies' College in Melbourne, Victoria. It's this experience that feeds directly into The Getting of Wisdom. Laura Tweedle Rambotham, the main character, is the eldest child of a country family. She is a clever and highly imaginative child, given to inventing romantic stories for the entertainment of her younger siblings, and an avid reader.
