What is the Filling of the Holy Spirit - pt. 1

The greatest need for every individual is to trust Jesus Christ as personal Savior. The Holy Spirit of God then enters into the new believer and permanently dwells within him or her as a seal or promise of future redemption and glorification of the body. Although the Spirit will always reside with the believer, offering comfort and spiritual guidance, the greatest need of the Christian is to "abide" in Christ by yielding control to the Holy Spirit' leading. This is a daily act of the will for every believer. The filling of the Holy Spirit allows the Spirit to guide the thoughts, speech, attitudes, conduct, and labors—in response to certain conditions met by the believer.
