If God is all good and all powerful why is there evil? God is love, love requires freedom. Freedom means opting out of God’s goodness = evil. Our uniqueness which makes possible a unique relationship with God is the source of our self-awareness and our pride [rebellion from God] = human evil. Our evil is supercharged by supernatural evil – Satan. The cross is God’s answer to the existence of evil.
