In the 16th Velvi discourse, Gurumahan says that true transformation begins within, and a handful of realized souls can become the unseen force that sustains the Universe.We cannot go beyond the mind without first giving the body what it needs. We cannot transcend the intellect without crossing the mind. We cannot gain true Self experience unless we deeply inquire into the Atma that has crossed the intellectual state. So, when wise people and seekers who want to realize God reach this state, they bring benefit to everyone. Just one good person can bring goodness to all, like rain that falls for everyone. We do not need many such wise people; even one percent in a town is enough.In earlier times, every village had a few people who realized themselves, gained Self experience, and understood the four principles of life. People called them Brahmins (அந்தணர்). Even though they were only a few families, they worked for the welfare of the whole village. They did not think of anything other than the good of the village. They knew all arts but did not use them to earn money. They understood business methods but did not engage in business. People in such a high state guided others on the right path.A person who lives for dharma and teaches it is a Brahmin. A person who gives his life for dharma is a Kshatriya. A person who earns wealth with dharma is a Vaishya. A person who supports all these three and also grows spiritually is a Shudra. These four roles must be guided and disciplined properly. Only those who know the path should guide others.
