I created BaiLa as a result of a drastic change in my life, coming from the other side of the world with no expectations, no safety net, no English or people who could help me find my way on this side of the planet.BaiLa became the only way I could communicate with people and express my passion, personality and the best way to share what I love most Dance & Fitness!!Coming to a foreign country wanting to succeed was one of the biggest challenges of my life, often people say “it’s all too hard”, but for me the harder it looks the more I want to do it.  It was an usual day in 2011 ready to teach my dance class, when I came into the Group Fitness room, and I could see an endless crowd of people waiting for me. Feeling so excited to see how many people were there, gave me the idea to use my hands to lead them, At the time I could not speak a word of English even though my Mum was an English teacher, funny right!!...So I said to myself, I can't say much but I can count till 10, then was when I called Salsa Number 1 and the entire room was moving in unison.I released I was on to something, then I said That’s why I made the decision and started calling numbers when I was dancing, so people could understand and follow my lead, then the funny noises I used to make to cue my next step chiqui, chiqui, puku, puku, turned into something more, and that was the universal language of a numbered system that could be followed by anyone anywhere in any culture., Thinking isn’t the way to do BaiLa, Dancing is... BaiLa is the release of your own self-expression inspired by the music.BaiLa has become people’s most wanted dance workout of every week.
