Hello SatsMate Crew!

Like many of you, I've had a Bitcoin story over the past decade where I heard about it, moved on, heard about it, and bought a tiny amount, and moved on. It never really stuck with me until around 2020 and I went down the rabbit hole. In today's podcast, I go over my story with Bitcoin, and the things that finally got me to understand it on a deeper level. Specifically, I go over:

- It became legal tender in El Salvador Around 2021
- Traveling to El Salvador and seeing how it works in person
- The debasement of the money openly and in a deceitful manner by the government
- Money doesn’t need to be legal tender by the decree of the government rather than - - the buy-in of the people
- The people building on top of it
- Hundreds of hours of podcasts and attending several Bitcoin meetups/conferences
- Seeing the working man get screwed by price hikes while banks get bailed out and
- Billionaires by private jets with PPP money

Overall, I would love to hear what made you understand Bitcoin! Was it something you casually ran into, or was it something you started to learn about slowly overtime?
