What Nolan Wells' Autopsy Could Never Check

Nolan Wells — two separate autopsies have been performed on this eighteen-year-old's body and neither can provide a cause of death. The independent examination came back undetermined. The state examination has not been released. And one critical part of the body — the neck structures — was retained by Mississippi's medical examiner, so the family's pathologist could never examine it for evidence of strangulation.Three hundred people were on Horn Island.
