He's praised public tips as "very productive." But the most basic question about the most basic investigative step gets silence — and Nolan's own best friend, who was on Horn Island that day and has been talking to every outlet that calls, says investigators have never contacted him.The new message from the sheriff is that his investigators will not be rushed.
