What To Do When You Can't Stop The Anxious Thoughts About Potentially Peeing Your Pants, Defeating Overactive Bladder and Urge Incontinence
from Stop Peeing Your Pants · host dr.kristinjohnson
In this episode we talk about anxiety around the potential to pee your pants. Anxiety can look like a physiological response that can increase your likelihood of bladder leakage because of the “tightening of everything” response that happens in the body when we are in a heightened state. I share a story about my journey with urge incontinence and my triggers when it came to having bladder leakage. I go over tips in the episode on what to do when you have the bladder urge to go to the bathroom, but you aren’t near one! The best thing we can do is keep our bodies in a relaxed state. This can seem impossible when all that is on your mind is the fact that you aren’t near a bathroom. If you're ready to join me in my course where you can become leak-free in 90 days or less, learn more and take a look inside the course here!
