What To Expect At SocialCon From These Guests, Panelists, and New Speaker Kennedy  Social Con 2023, Drunk on Social’s first live event will be held on April 3rd and 4th in Los Angeles and feature some of the most nationally recognized Social Media influencers.The event will also highlight some of the most successful real estate agents who have built their businesses by executing unique and strategic Social Media strategies. On today’s episode, you will hear from five of those influencers who will give you insight on what you can expect from them at Social Con. Tune in! Episode Highlights: Jeff introduces his good friend, Rett Harmon at his office in Carrollton, GA and talks about the influences who will join Rett at the live Social Con event. Jeff advises if you don’t know Rett - go stalk him (Social links in Resources Section) and you will see why he is a marketing genius. Every holiday, Rett’s team does something very unique and very special. Rett shares a little bit about it and how they do a lot in the community.  Rett has mailer campaigns and other cool things to share at Social Con.  The influencers will be accessible and among the groups as well, not just as speakers on the stage. The way the event is laid out is very different. Jeff explains the format. Jeff talks about the vendors that will be onsite at the event to help build your Social Media as well. Jeff introduces Rachel Adams Lee from Northern California who is doing some amazing things on Social Media. Rachel shares a little bit about her story. She hit the “Top 1,000 Agents In The Country” in her third year of real estate and still has that today, ten years later.  Rachel loves conversation with people. She realized the opportunity of creating effective Social Media messages to connect with many more people in a shorter amount of time. The reality is that people are doing one of two things on Social Media if they are doing well. Rachel runs 4 businesses through Social Media and will share her strategies, calendars, and samples for referrals. Rachel says, “Social Media can be this beautiful thing that makes you feel empowered…and it can also suck the life out of you and make you question everything you’re doing.” She will be giving you tools to set boundaries around that. Jeff and Tristan introduce Ed Stulak.  How do you connect through video that is not a pre-recorded way? Ed shares how the best approach is the personable way. Don’t sell automatic conversation starters. Ed talks about retention and keeping followers as well as building business opportunities. If you don’t think Social Media is worth the investment, Ed has advice. You don’t want to keep swimming in a diluted pool of content and information. He is based out of Long Beach, CA.  Ian has been in real estate for 10 years, 3 years as a loan officer and 7 years as a real estate agent professional. Jeff asks Ian when Social Media became a big part of his business. Jeff asks Ian to share what he would say to people who think that Social Media is not professional. Ian talks about grabbing and retaining attention on Social. Social Con will also highlight influencers plans for what is next as well.  King “Kennedy” Hart  has almost 705,000 followers on TikTok. He shares some of the things that have positioned him in the Social world. Kennedy was born in New York and moved to New Jersey. He started on Social because of his love for music and then fell in love with content creation. He then moved to LA to commit to his journey. Jeff asks Kennedy to share how someone might duplicate a fraction of his success. If you feel “cringy”, he has advice. He also will talk about trend setting in your industry. Kennedy talks about YouTube Shorts and the opportunity it offers. Kennedy talks about monetization. How do you tap into monetization opportunities ahead?
