What We Do In The Shadows (2019) - Season 1

It might not be spooky season, but we're talking vampires anyway as we return to What We Do In The Shadows, season 1. BAT! We get into Matt Berry's AMAZING performance. The relationship between Nandor and Guillermo. The absolutely spot-on cameos of the vampires who make up the Vampire Council. And also the fact that these aren't regular vampires. These guys are just fucking idiots. Colin is interesting. The whole energy vampire thing in general is fascinating but we do wish they had saved the reveal that he has actual supernatural abilities for later in the season. It would have worked a bit better if we were unsure if he was a vampire for real or just the world's most boring man. There's also a short sidetrack into talking about the film Vamps.
