I argued at the time that I would much rather be Hawkeye, but then I started to realize - that was a huge compliment.I pride myself on details. I like to think that I'm detail-oriented to a fault and take a secret pleasure in fixing a problem before it becomes a problem. I've honed the skill of getting folks what they didn't know they needed as an overall assistant to two different sales staffs (a skill I first discovered was even a thing during a 9-year tenure in the restaurant/hospitality industry.) One might say I'm pretty good at foretelling disaster, but I like to think of it as being prepared.Working at the iconic Ryman Auditorium for 4 years was an honor and exposed me to the roller coaster that is event marketing and had I a souvenir photo, it would be me, with my hands raised in jubilation, with a huge smile on my face as I screamed down that hill at 97 miles an hour.I also had the pleasure to recently work at another Nashville institution, The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Managing a team of marketing managers continued the thrill ride of my career until I decided a shift in work environments was coming when I accepted a position at a local garden center, JVI Secret Gardens. Tending to plants while helping Nashville residents bring their yard to life make the unfortunate tan lines completely worth it. I have traded my dresses and heels for tank tops and work boots and I couldn't be happier.I like to cook, also and it shows on the local TV airwaves. I have created recipes for use in television commercials, as well as supplying scripts and being an on-camera talent. I also represent a national website, Allrecipes.com, in the role of brand ambassador.
